    Stingray Acquires IConcerts

    Stingray Digital Group Inc., a leading business-to-business multiplatform music provider, announced that it has reached an agreement to acquire Swiss-based iConcerts, a TV channel dedicated solely to live music currently distributed to more than 100 Pay-TV and OTT operators in 85 countries and available to an estimated 250 million households across Europe, Asia, Africa, and the Middle-East. Upon completion of the transaction, Stingray will be the world's largest broadcaster of live music concerts on television, with access to the largest library of digital live music worldwide. The transaction is expected to add $5 million in annual revenues for Stingray.

    With this transaction, Stingray firmly establishes a stronghold in the Asian market including distribution deals with CCTV in China, KT in Korea and StarHub in Singapore. IConcerts also has an important presence in Europe with providers Swisscom and Orange, and in Russia with Tricolor.

About Josef Haid

Josef grew up with lots of classical music and is singing all his life. He learned to play violin with age 5 and guitar from age 12 with songs from The Beatles, Elvis Presley, The Eagles, Supertramp and Queen. In the 80ies he recorded his first single with his school band. 

With «Dreams come true» Josef releases his first album of own songs (words & music) Josef wrote the songs between 2012 and 2014, first developed them acoustically and later on arranged and recorded them together with Adreas Utzinger in his Studio «Blue Acoustics» followed by live recordings with his Band. The CD release concert May 29 2015 at Club Moods in Zurich with a crowd of 200 was a great event,

John Thayer

John Thayer is a singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon performing over the last four years as a solo artist developing and crafting his style. 

John’s signature sound has captivated a dedicated audience worldwide. In October, 2013, John released Laurel Street on EON Records. 

This Indie Pop production has its roots at the Oregon Coast where the artist has cultivated his musical sensibilities in the artist community of Cannon Beach where Thayer has a summer home. In April, 2015 John will release his new EP titled Take It Back.

As a follow-up to the critically acclaimed release, Laurel Street, this six song collection is an eclectic production using both live strings and brass horns to compliment John’s guitar, bass and drum ensemble. The Indie Pop style is reminiscent of Laurel Street, but the songs take on a deeper sophistication with lyrics that probe a bit deeper into the psyche. 

Take It Back was co-produced by the Laurel Street team of Bobby Krier and Micah Tawlks in Nashville. The record was mixed by Greg Collins (No Doubt, Matchbox Twenty, US), in Los Angeles. John’s brother Tommy is the lead guitarist for the iconic rock band KISS.

Zarko

Bob Dylan and John Mayer. Recorded in his hometown, Belgrade (Serbia) with the help of close friends who performed along his side, Look At Me is released under Zarko's newly established record label Izum.

Singer/Songwriter Zarko made his debut on international scene in 2013, with "Chasing Dreams", album produced in partnership with Tate Music Group, a label from Oklahoma. 
As a traveling songwriter, Zarko performed with various bands and received several songwriting awards. Fame Music song contest award in 2013 granted him prestigious audio production scholarship at SAE Institute. 

Zarko continues to write and release songs in 2014 with the single "Rainbow", energy driven modern Rock track. 

Influenced by the music of such songwriters as John Lennon, Jackson Browne, Neil Young and the likes of John Mayer, Zarko blends it into a new sound on his 2015 single release "Look At Me", introspective and intimate song.

Zarko is known for very energetic live performances and fingerpicking guitar technique.

The love for the music was discovered at  young age and Zarko started classical guitar education when he was 10 years old. Learning classical guitar and flamenco was soon replaced with songwriting and Zarko continued his musical journey working on his original music. The passion for rock and roll led him to various bands and opportunities. After his very first demo tracks grabed the attention of local radio stations, Zarko decided to try his luck as a solo performer. 

Along with music, Zarko has a passion for filmmaking. Studied a film school and had several years of experience in Video Editing and Directing of music videos, documentaries and shorts. In 2014 he founded Izum, a company dedicated to video & audio production.

Alex & Friends

Alex & Friends was founded in Paris on 2011 around lead singer/composer Pierre Alexander (France, 34, guitar, piano, drums, vocals). He recruited his cousin Hugh (France, 23, bass and vocals) and his ex-girlfriend Elfie (France, 33, vocals) to team up for the recording in early 2012 of the band's debut album: 

One Thing Left, published by Jane Songs and released on September, 2012. Backed up by Max (drums) and Erwan (lead guitar), they recorded a follow-up album, Some Winter Tales in 2014.

New York, NY. After the angry ‘One Thing Left” published in 2012, Alex & Friends are back with the quieter yet infectuous ‘Some Winter Tales’ and the timing – with Christmas coming to town – couldn’t be more spot on.

The combo here is at its best. Pierre Alexander’s disenchanted songs are brought into life by an intricate combination of 70’s like ambiant rock and more pop-oriented tunes.

The beautiful piano-driven ballad ‘Glamorous Glow’ is a perfect introduction to Alex & Friends’ classy approach to pop music, while ‘Losing Ground’ and ‘Speed Limit’ remind the listener of how good this band is at wrapping up catchy nasty singles. As for the majestic ‘Christmas Day’ with its epic ending, a hundred listens might not be enough to capture its dark and poisonous beauty.

Ever wondered what a little innocent 11 year old can do? Well, let this 11 year old show you. Ani-K started singing from the age of 4. Ani recorded her first 3 cover songs in late September 2013. In December 2013 Ani recorded her first single and music video called "Holiday".

Since then Ani has written, produced and recorded "Holiday", "I Know" "Common People", "Holiday", "Hey Girl". Impressed! This is the tip of the iceberg. In December 2013 Ani auditioned for The Voice Kids and was a finalist to the Blinds. She was chosen to represent Australia in The Worldwide Championships in Los Angeles, USA in July 2014.

HER SONGS :

Ani is a firm believer in women and children's rights, in the power of one person to affect change. Her song "Common People" is about change. Ani also believes in empowering girls and children. Her songs "I know", "Friend Like You" and "Hey Girl" encourage girls to look within rather than seek validation from others.

HOST OF KIDZBIZ :

In 2014, Ani-K accepted a regular spot, hosting a small segment on Foxtel called Kidzbiz.

Ani is the youngest host in Australia to host a chat show on her own merits.

Ani-K sings for Radio Lollipop at P.M.H on a regular basis. She performs at a number of venues around Perth and plays in a band.
