CARA McGILLION TURNS UP THE TEMPO WITH NEW SINGLE “TEAR STAINED LETTER”
A lively, feel-good country number packed with energy and traditional country flavour.
Omagh country singer Cara McGillion is getting ready to release her latest single, “Tear Stained Letter” — and despite what the title might suggest, this one certainly isn’t a slow ballad!
Fast-paced, lively and full of country character, “Tear Stained Letter” gives Cara the opportunity to show another side of her music. With its infectious tempo and unmistakable country sound, it’s a track made for turning up loud, getting toes tapping and filling the dance floor.
Cara has always had a strong love for traditional Irish and American country music, and her latest release brings that influence to the forefront with a fresh, youthful energy.
The new single follows Cara’s original release “A Good Ol’ Country Song”, which received fantastic support from radio presenters and listeners across Ireland, the UK and further afield.
Over recent years, Cara has continued to make her mark on the country music scene, performing at events and music weekends across Ireland, Northern Ireland and Scotland. Along the way, she has had the opportunity to appear alongside some of the biggest and most respected names in country music, including Dominic Kirwan, Gerry Guthrie, David James, Philomena Begley and Declan Nerney.
Her music has also continued to gain radio support, including airplay on stations throughout Ireland, the UK and internationally.
With “Tear Stained Letter,” Cara delivers a song that captures exactly what she loves about country music. a great story, a driving rhythm and plenty of personality.
“When people hear the title ‘Tear Stained Letter’, they might expect a slow, sad song but this is anything but! It’s quick, lively and great fun. I absolutely loved recording it and I hope it’s one that people will turn up in the car, sing along to and maybe even have a wee jive to!” Cara McGillion.
The release continues an exciting chapter for the young Omagh artist as she develops her own place within the country music industry while remaining firmly connected to the traditional country sound she loves.
Fun, energetic and unmistakably country, “Tear Stained Letter” is ready to get feet tapping.
